This four-day course will focus on the ILC LightLEEDer and Apprentice 3 lighting control systems.  Participants will gain an understanding of the LightLEEDer and Apprentice 3 relay panels and accessories.  The classes start off with an introduction to the LightLEEDer components.  The participant will then become familiar with the LightLEEDer software suite.  During the evolution of the class, the participant will learn how to set up, wire, and configure the hardware as well as program the system.  Throughout the course, there are hands on experiences to reinforce the various concepts presented.  Students are generally paired up to encourage teamwork to solve various simulated lighting control scenarios.

 

Intelligent Lighting Controls LightLEEDer is an efficient lighting control solution for all traditional wired control application needs. This digital based lighting control system is capable of supporting energy management, code compliance, DMX lighting and individual addressable lighting control applications, all from a single platform. Each controller configuration is fully networkable and commissioned via the LightLEEDer software package.

Tuition Includes:  Breakfast and Lunch Daily; Transportation to the SOURCE daily from group hotel; Participants are responsible for tuition, transportation to Peachtree City, Georgia and transportation to the airport at the conclusion of the class, Hotel costs and other expenses.

LEDs have changed the way we illuminate the nighttime environment. This two-day course will cover LEDs in detail as a source to consider for exterior applications based on their long life, extended maintenance cycle, and lower energy consumption, and optical capabilities. Participants will study exterior lighting design and principles for nighttime applications such as roadway, parking lots, area and site lighting and sports lighting and evaluate the operating characteristics of fixtures designed for specific exterior applications. Exterior lighting legislation such as Model Lighting Ordinance, BUG Rating, and testing methodologies (LM79, LM80 and TM21) will be covered. This course is ideal for those involved in the design/specification or the energy management of exterior spaces, and for those looking to gain a better understanding of what to use in their unique applications.

This three-day workshop focuses on the fundamentals of lighting, which includes lighting technologies such as LEDs, lamp and ballast systems, lighting terminology, fixture types, cost of light, photometry and an introduction to lighting controls. Participants will be able to actively engage and apply skills learned throughout each session while interacting with instructors and classmates. Lighting Fundamentals is not only a course for those new to the lighting industry but also a refresher course for those who are looking to re-establish the basics of their lighting knowledge.
